Restore:  Healing While Returning to Campus 

This workshop will provide a space for students who are looking to heal and cope upon their return to campus.  Information regarding common responses to trauma, as well as strategies that can be used to effectively manage these responses will be discussed. 

Dates:  Sept 4 & 18; Oct 2 & 16; Nov 6 & 20 – 11:30 am -12:30 pm

Location:  Student Union 267 (Price Center, Oct 2)

Creative Restoration & Puppy Play 

Join CAPS staff, and some furry friends, to engage your mind in creative expressions on your journey of healing and restoration.  Activities will include healing stones and canvas painting. 

Dates:  Sept 11; Oct 9; Nov 13 – 11:30 am – 1 pm

Location:  Quad between CHHS & COED

Restoring Through Movement:  Restorative Yoga 

Join CAPS and University Recreation staff to engage your body and mind on your journey of healing and restoration.  Learn and experience restoration through the practice of yoga and meditation.

Dates:  Sept 25; Oct 23; Dec 4 – 11:30 am -1 pm

Location:  Belk Gym (Sept 25); SAC Salons (Oct 23, Dec 4)

Restoring Through Movement:  Cardio Kickboxing 

Join CAPS and University Recreation staff to engage your body and mind on your journey of healing and restoration.  Learn and experience restoration through the practice of kickboxing and mindfulness.

Date: Oct 30 – 11:30 am – 1 pm
